A new RUR World University Ranking has been published, which evaluates the work of higher education institutions around the world. For the first time in history the RSAU-MAA named after K.A. Timiryazev entered this ranking system and showed the best result among all agricultural universities in Russia.

In 2022, the RUR World University Ranking included 1032 universities from 82 countries. Russia is represented by 116 universities.

The Timiryazev Academy is ranked 756th in the general list and 49th among Russian universities. In addition to RSAU-MTAA, the ranking includes two other universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia - Omsk State Agrarian University (915th place) and Oryol State Agrarian University (917th place).
